Fit4Less Colchester is an affordable high quality gym with the premium feel often only available from far more expensive health clubs.
We aim to offer everything you would need to achieve your fitness goals in a fun and friendly environment. Our gym is set out in a number of exciting zones focusing on different aspects of your fitness routine:
Our cardio zone holds an extensive range of Precor cardio equipment including cross trainers, treadmills, bikes and concept rowers. Additionally, why not try our exciting Adaptive Motion Trainers and Stairmaster to mix up your cardio workout. Please ask a member of the team if you want to be given some ideas on how to incorporate these into your workout.
Also in the Cardio Zone is our stretch area, with stability balls and bosu balls where we will also be holding Abs Blast and other gym floor classes.
Resistance Machine Zone
Our Precor Resistance Machines, together with our large 4 stack cable station allows members to carry out a full body workout without having to venture into the free weights area.
Functional Training Zone
Think adult climbing frame! Our functional training zone encompasses a large training rig with TRX cables, weighted balls, weighted bags, sled track, sled and soon to arrive squire, punch bag and battle ropes. Why not add some fun into your workout by using some of the equipment in this zone. Our qualified team are happy to provide ideas as required.
Free Weights Area
Not the preserve simply of weight lifters, our free weights are there to be used by all. For those new to free weights, why not try our range of plate loaded machines. For those who are braver or more experienced, we have an Exigo power platform, squat rack, flat, decline and incline Olympic benches and dumbells going up to 50kgs!
We are very proud of our large studio, with coloured mood lighting and exciting wall graphics. We offer a range of Les Mills virtual classes and popular instructor lead classes.
Our high definition Virtual Classes are projected onto a large projector on one wall of the studio and include Body Pump, RPM, Body Combat, Shabam and Body Balance.
Our popular instructor lead classes include instructor lead cycle classes, circuits, legs bums and tums and yoga. For those who are just starting out we also offer gentle or delicate versions of many of these instructor classes to help you set out on your fitness journey.
At Fit4Less Colchester you can benefit from our Personal Training service provided by our team of highly qualified and experienced trainers. Our personal training service involves one-on-one sessions or small group sessions (with you and a friend). The aim of the sessions is to focus on specific exercises that will help you achieve the best results in the time available for you to train.
Our personal trainers will initially conduct an assessment of your needs, analysing your fitness level. Based on this assessment they will then formulate an exercise regime which is tailored to you. This plan can also include nutrition and lifestyle advice so often overlooked when trying to achieve fitness goals.
