STRENGTHEN TONE & CONDITION
Energie Lift: Give your fitness a real lift! An inspiring high intensity strength workout using dumbbells, that’ll change the way you look at fitness…and the way others look at you! This class will raise your metabolic rate for many hours after the class has finished which means you will continue to burn calories at an increased rate even when your body is at rest.
Body Blast: This class can include many different elements that “Blitz” your body from every angle. It could include a cardio section; but it’s mainly lots and lots of conditioning and toning exercises using dumbbells, body bars, or your own body weight.
Ab Blast: Toning and conditioning exercises for the trunk of the body with intense focus on the upper middle and lower abs.
Kettle Blast: A dynamic, intense and fast paced class that works the entire body using kettle bell training techniques. This class will give you a full body workout but will really challenge the posterior chain and core (that’s the butt, lower back, back of the leg and stomach area) whilst burning fat and calories at an astonishing rate.
Yoga: A vigorous, fitness based Yoga Class with the emphasis on strength, flexibility and conditioning exercises, leaving both the mind and the body feeling revived and refreshed.
Stretch & Tone: This class is a mix of yoga based exercises and core stability moves. Stay firm and get more flexible whilst lengthening and toning your stomach, glutes, legs and arms. Relax and clam your mind which can improve sleep patterns and your body will love you for it.
Body Pump: This is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition Pump gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 540 calories and our Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music. You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
Rig Circuit: Based on the rig this class is a fun filled and effective way of switching up your training methods, utilising all the stations it will incorporate boxing, abdominal, as well as upper and lower body work.
HIIT the Gym: This time efficient action packed 30 minute class is a high intensity resistance based circuit which takes place on the gym floor, it will hit all the major muscle groups, with designated rest periods. It is ideal for building strength and muscular endurance.
Stretch & Abs: A fitness focused class to elongate, lengthen and tone every muscle in the body. After twisting, turning and flexing every muscle in the mid-section you will lie down, relax and leave feeling refreshed and revived.
AEROBIC & CARDIO CLASSES
HIITSTEP (& Abs): This is a new and innovative 30 minute HIIT exercise class using your own bodyweight and a step platform. This class has been developed using the expertise and experience from those that have competed for and worked with Team GB.
Step & Sculpt: A great class for beginners as it only involves 25 minutes of step along with 15 minutes of sculpting and toning exercises. The step section will improve your cardio fitness whilst burning fat and toning the legs and butt; and the sculpting section will challenge your core and strengthen and tighten the whole body.
Spin: Come prepared for a cycling class to challenge your mental and physical fitness as you tackle the jumps, long climbs, sprints and flats. All set to inspiring music to keep you on track for a great workout. Some Spin Classes will include toning and abdominal sections.
High Spin: A shorter more intense workout for those members who are short on time but high on energy. This is a great class to link in to your gym floor routine. Why not do a High Spin followed by some strength work in the gym?
Box Fit: A fun and enjoyable way of exercising and activating every muscle in the body. It is a fantastic cardiovascular workout that strips fat whilst improving muscular endurance. You don’t need any boxing experience to benefit from this class as our experienced instructors will teach you how to jab, cross and uppercut yourself into shape.
Step: This freestyle class is a choreographed, high energy and athletic workout using a height adjustable step; the benefits are muscle tone, calorie burn and lower body muscle definition. You will need some significant Step experience to really get the most out of this class.
Club Aerobics: The routines are designed to be fun, simple and easy-to-follow so you can relax whilst working out at your own level and not worry about getting the steps wrong. The music is a compilation of big hits from the 80’s, 90’s right up to the present day…..or as we would say “they’re all banging tunes.” You can do the class as a high impact routine or work at a lower level, the choice is yours.
HIIT Blast: This studio based high intensity cardio class uses no equipment and is completely body weight based. It helps tone and define all the major muscle groups of the body, it will leave you sweaty and sore but definitely wanting more.
Kick Start: This is much more than your bog-standard induction, it is a group session (max capacity 5) and a great way to introduce you to the club, the energie fitness team, the energie promise and values. We will make sure you feel confident with all we have to offer and take you through the tailored kickstart session which will hopefully leave you feeling a little sore… but definitely wanting more.
Body Pump V: This is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repletion BodyPump gives you a total body workout.
Body Balance V: Embrace elements of yoga, tai-chi and pilates with this class and bend and stretch your way to fitness.
Sh’bam V: A fun insanely addictive dance workout. Sh’bam is an ego free zone so dance like nobody’s watching. All you need is a playful attitude and a cheeky smile. No dance experience required, even if you walk in thinking you can’t you will walk out knowing you can Sh’bam.
Body Combat V: Step into a Body Combat workout and you’ll punch and kick your way to fitness burning up to 740 calories along the way. This high-energy martial arts inspired workout is totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master. You’ll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ!
CX Worx V: This program hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It's ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, as well as improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention.
